With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the list of to-do’s will begin to pile up. From the endless grocery lists to freshening up the guest rooms, and pulling out the nice silverware, the list goes on and on. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s always a great idea to get the house as ready as possible before family shows up. I’ve gathered four of my favorite table setting designs that you can arrange ahead of time.
Celebrate with Color
Make a statement at your Thanksgiving table with bold fall colors. A classic red and orange theme is a great way to add festive spice to your dining room. Add colored leaves and your table will be filled with food, family, and festive decor.
Clean, crisp and classic! There is nothing more elegant than white and gold accompanying your Thanksgiving feast. Gather all your white china and add a few ivory pumpkins and wooden or burlap accents to tie the whole look together.
Sometimes less is more. You can play up the natural accents of your dining room table with small squashes and cooper side dishes to create a calm and inviting table setting. Using this approach will give you plenty of room for all the sides and help showcase that big bird.
If the weather permits, grab the turkey and head outside. Nothing says “authentic Thanksgiving” more than eating in the fresh outdoors just like the pilgrims. The changing leaves and fall colors will add a great pop to your table setting.
